Bryan Williams Obituary

Bryan Anthony Williams was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and friend.  He was born March 1, 1978 to Willie and Janet Williams.  He confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Morgan Park, IL.  He later became a member of Bethlehem Temple Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. J.C. Smith.

It was apparent form an early age that Bryan was an extremely bright and athletic young man. Her attended Berger-Vandenberg Elementary School, Dirksen Jr. High, and Thornridge High School in Dolton, IL.

Throughout his academic career he received numerous honor roll awards.  In addition, he was a talented baseball and basketball player as a youth, earning him several awards and trophies. After high school he attended Jackson State University, in Jackson, MS for a years and was on the Dean’s List.

However missing home he returned to Illinois and pursued a career in phlebotomy.  He was accomplished in his field, frequently being requested for his services.  Bryan also received a license as a pharmacy tech.  He worked at several hospitals including, Michael Reese Hospital, ACL Laboratory, and South Suburban Hospital.  He was an excellent employee and was well liked by his patients and coworkers.

God called Bryan home on August 17, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his father Willie.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted mother Janet; a loving sister Denise; two beloved children, Bryanna and Ali; an adoring niece, Kyla; and nephew James; as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
