Divonni Deon Keel, a handsome and healthy baby boy was born on May 21, 1993 to the union of Darnell and Anita Keel in Chicago,Illinois. Divonni's grandparents, Doris Forman and Thomas Keel preceded him in death.
Divonni was affectionately known as “Vonni” and was truly a loving, optimistic and helpful individual. Vonni had a heart of gold and always put his loved ones first. Vonni enjoyed life and always was ready, willing and able to host and entertain those closest to him. Being a true protector and leader, Divonni always made sure his family and friends were secure.Under the guidance of his father, Divonni became a member of Valley Kingdom Ministries at the age of 10. He enjoyed the father and son bond while attending church every Sunday.
Divonni attended Colin Powell Middle School and Rich South High School. While attending high school Divonni participated on the football and wrestling teams.
On March 13, 2019, God sent his angels and called Divonni home.
Divonni leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Anita Keel, his father and mother, Darnell and Veronica Keel, his mother Mary Hopson and his brothers, Dakota Keel and Demond Allen.
He also leaves behind his sisters, LaDonna Hopson, Tremaine Moore and Geonna Lewis. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandmothers: Sharon Blunt and Dorothy Isom; and loving girlfriend,Jasmine Thomas.
He will be missed by his uncles, Cardell Dotson (Cindy), JamesRichardson, Paul Williams, Marvin Riles, Leslie Croswell, Gregory Keel, Jerry Frazier (Patricia), Lemuel Askew, Marcel Hartwell, Michael Walker, Hollis Dorrough, Paris Steele and Tyrone Isom. Also his aunts, Cortez Keel (David), Deborah Keel (Nazaire), Isedra Forman, Sherry Riles, Shonta Muhammad, Gay McDade (William), and Theresa Bryant. He also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
