M.B. Sanders was born on November 27, 1916 to the union of George and Jeannie Sanders in Itta Bena, MS. On March 5, 1938, M.B. and John Henry Rosemon were united in holy matrimony. They moved to Harvey, IL in 1944.
To this union 11 children were born (she was preceded in death by her husband John Henry and four children: John Jr., Dennis, June and Andrew). She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was a faithful member of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church.
Everyone who knew Mother Rosemon loved and respected her. She was a good cook and a good mother to her children. She was like a mother to everyone in the neighborhood. She loved her family, friends, and her hats.
Mother Rosemon leaves to mourn her children: Louise McChristian, Richard Rosemon, Jean Lord, Rosemary Summers, McKinley (Jean) Rosemon, Robert Rosemon, and Wardell (Tanya) Rosemon; 1 brother, Otha Sanders; 2 sisters: R.B. Rosemon and Ollie Mae Spiller; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great great great grandchildren; a Special granddaughter, Vonecia Goer; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She will be dearly missed
