Vanessa Dale Bausley was born on May 31, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to the amazing parents of Oscar and Martha Bausley; both parents preceded her in death.
Vanessa confessed to Christ at an early age. She attended True Vine Missionary Baptist Church in Dixmoor, Illinois under the leadership of Pastor J.G. Lewis, where she was a very devoted member of the Voices of True Vine and the Nurses Board.
Vanessa attended Kick Elementary School in Harvey, IL. She graduated in 1977 from Thornton High School. In 1978, she graduated from Taylor Business Institute of Chicago, IL.
Vanessa began her career with the State of Illinois in 1978. Over the next 33 years she worked for Illinois Department of Employment Security. Later, she transferred to the Public Aid office. She ended her state career at Illinois Healthcare & Family Services as a Child Support Specialist, where she retired from in 2012. She relocated to Georgia in 2015, where she enjoyed the rest of her retirement.
Vanessa met Byron Morrow while working at the Public Aid office. They, later, married in 1995.
Vanessa also known as Yellow Punkin, Nessa, Sesha, Bobadeen, and Ness-Dawg was a social butterfly. She was fun, loving, and very family oriented. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. Her bubbly personality and sassy sense of humor was the light that lit up any room she was in. Her spirit touched the hearts of many people. And, she was loved by everyone.
Vanessa made her transition and received her wings on the morning of February 11, 2019 to be with her Heavenly Father.
