Harold was born co Bertha Sutton and Harold Moore on August 27, l':)40 in Chicago, IL. His father, mother, and his brothers: Charles, Willis, Rosco, and Michael all preceded him in death. Harold was educated in the Chicago Public School System, where he captured a love for his City; and cook pride in the rich history of the "Windy City's" people and culture.
Harold accepted Christ at an early age, and he sang in the Adule Male Choir at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Harvey, Illinois.
Harold worked as a longshoreman in the City of Chicago for many years, until he cradled in pain on the floor in the hull of a ship at which time he was immediately sent home and soon after his only child would be born.
Harold obtained a job at Acme Steel where he would remain until he retired in 1992. Harold made the decision co purchase a home and moved his wife, Barbara and daughter fifty miles south of the city co Harvey, Illinois. He cook pride in working in his yard and remained comfortably in his home for over forty years.
Harold departed chis life on December 17, 2023- He leaves co cherish his memory co his daughter, Nicole (Ronald); sister Angela; brothers Brian, Preston, Gentry, and Shannon; grandchildren, Lania, Iyandi, Randy, Anissa, and Ronnell (Venus); a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
