Viergelie was born on October 27, 1936, in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to her parents Henry Albery and Althemise Frerenise. She was the first of five children, followed by Anicia, Ersulia Pavelus Eliphete, and Vertilia. When she was asked to be the godmother of Josette in 1966, she met her husband Roland, who happened to have been the person asked to be the godfather. They married in Haiti in 15)68.
In 1968, Viergelie and Roland moved to the U.S. with their family. She always loved helping others as she pursued a career in healthcare in 1970; she worked at Roseland Community Hospital for 23 years. Viergelie turned her house into a home for her children, grandchildren, and anyone who needed her help. She valued physical health as she enjoyed walking around her neighborhood and in forest trails. Viergelie was an avid gardener, passing on her skills to her children and grandchildren.
Viergelie is survived by her loving husband Roland; Her younger sister Ersulia; Her children Marie Samedy (Jean Denis), Gary Delsion (Tammy), Ronny Delsoin, Mirlange Cantave, and Itela Delsoin; Her brother-in-law Max Delsoin; Her grandchildren Fitzgerald Samedy (Shaneena), Gary T. Delsoin, Bernard Samedy, Emily Jean (Ricardo), Majorie De, Reginald Delsoin, Isaiah Michel; Her greatgrandchildren Kevin, Rosalie, andJayceon; Her extended family Wasmen DuPlan & family, Stephanie Eliacin and Stephanie Fanfan, Souvenie Montine & family, Patrice Montina & family, Serge Eliacin (Renee), Micheline Eliacin (Frantz), Rousely Eliacin, Ruch Eliacin, & family, Beatrice Jeanlouis, Wilna Delsoin, Antonia Delsoin, Kayla Delsoin; and by her extended family Valorie Vigilant, Elma Jean, Job Cyril, and Marie Lourdes Lauture.
